
Listed since November 1999 as a UNESCO National Heritage Site, Parc national de Miguasha makes you discover what life looked like many millions years ago. The park comprises fossilized plants and fishes exceptionally preserved which date back as far as 380 million years. This incredible discovery has allowed a greater understanding of the evolution of life on earth and has given a true scientific importance to the park.
