Named after the long river that crosses its municipality, Grande-Rivière has a river that abounds with salmons and that is very popular with fishermen from Quebec and elsewhere. Managed by the Cégep de Gaspé, the Centre spécialisé des pêches allows visitors to initiate themselves to the world of fisheries. You can also visit the exhibition “Les travailleurs de la mer”.
