Copper takes centre stage

The Copper Interpretation Centre offers you a tour with an interactive exhibition presenting the world of copper throughout a gallery of discoveries. Discover the numerous secrets of copper: its ore, the history of its prospecting, its extraction, its conversion, its alloys, its characteristics, its uses and its new orientations. Then, try on the miner’s outfit with helmet and light and go down Mr. Miller’s underground gallery and live with us the experience of total blackness! Back on the surface, you can take a shuttle accompanied by a guide, travel through the streets of the city and discover all the services while heading to Mont Miller’s wind farm in order to discover a wind turbine which is part of one of Canada’s most important wind farm installations. Open your eyes wide since the view is wide and beautiful. End your visit with our charming gift shop.
