Cloridorme (Pointe-à-la-Frégate)
A Village’s Suburb
Next to the municipality of Cloridorme lies the hamlet of Pointe-à-la-Frégate and its some hundred inhabitants. Here, you can take the time to stop at the rest area, but especially to observe, at low tide, the cannons buried in the sand. These cannons are the remnants of the English frigate Penelope, a ship that ran aground near the area.
