The municipality of Sainte-Thérèse-de-Gaspé has about 1,150 inhabitants. The economy of this municipality, which was officially founded in 1930, is mainly based on fishing. In Quebec, Sainte-Thérèse-de-Gaspé is one of the most important fishing villages. The boats you will see berth or head for the open sea will certainly bring back cod, but also snow crab.
