Sanctuaire Notre-Dame des Douleurs

Open year round

An Outdoor Worship Site

The Sanctuaire Notre-Dame des Douleurs is a place where pilgrims have been coming to meditate for almost 70 years now. Inside the church, you can admire the artworks of sculptor Médard Bourgault, including the main crucifix and the Saint-Joseph the Worker statue. You can also admire the eight stations of the Chemin des douleurs de Marie, which is made with ceramics.

Outside, visitors can admire a replica of the Lourdes grotto, the seven stations of the Chemin des douleurs de Marie made in bronze as well as an outdoor altar. You can also walk along the paths in the woods to feel all the peace that surrounds the sanctuary.
