Entrance door to the magnificent parc national de la Gaspésie, Sainte-des-Monts is located in the middle of a cove. On the Rue du Quai, Exploramer will make you discover the marine environment and the biodiversity of the St. Lawrence River. In a dozen aquariums, you will see a large number of fish, molluscs, shellfish and anemones. Located in the middle of the Gaspésie region, the parc national de la Gaspésie houses a rich and diversified nature. This territory conceals 25 of the 40 highest peaks in Quebec. The Jacques-Cartier and Albert mountains invite you to discover the artic-alpine flora and the caribous. With 140 kilometres of trails, this park is the ideal place for those who like to hike and do cross-country skiing. The réserve faunique des Chic-Chocs, for its part, allows you to visit an opencast agate mine and to pick up geodes and druses.
